As a senior management consultant and seasoned educator, I tie together relevant management experience and an engineering perspective with organization development skills to achieve top performance and outstanding business results for my clients. I bring both practical and theoretical know-how from over twenty years in industry and consulting. I have worked in training, organization development, education, manufacturing, and plant administration.

My career began with a Chemical Engineering degree working as a manager for Procter and Gamble. After 7 years in the manufacturing world, I learned that what got me out of bed every morning was not an interest in the machines and technology that made the products. What motivated and “jazzed” me were the people who made it all happen. I cared deeply about their careers, their skills, and, most of all, I cared about whether they showed up each day and gave their very best to their work. While the analytical skills that I built through rigorous engineering training served me well, I discovered that my true life purpose centered on optimizing the human element, or “Vital Thread”, in businesses and organizations.

Since achieving an MS in Organization Development at Northeastern University in the early 90s, I have built my career by working with leaders in businesses and not-for-profits to fully leverage the human potential of their organizations.
